2020: Focused on the Future

Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you. (Proverbs 4:25)

Dear St. Philip’s Family,

We love witnessing how the ministries at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church transform lives within our church family and across our local communities. Over the next three Sundays, you will hear from fellow parishioners just like you who walk deeply in our St. Philip’s ministries. Listen for God speaking to you through each of their ministry stories and in your own walk of faith.

Our theme for the upcoming Annual Giving Campaign is “2020: Focused on the Future”. Over the past couple of years we have seen increasing levels of energy, momentum and enthusiasm at St. Philip’s including 31 new confirmations, growing Christian Education classes and many newcomers worshiping with us. Now is not the time to rest on our laurels, but to continue to go boldly into the new decade with great excitement and optimism.

On Sunday, November 3rd we will be celebrating All Saints Day, which commemorates all saints known and unknown. It will also be our Pledge Sunday, when everyone returns their 2020 pledge cards to be presented on the church altar. Each gift, regardless of size, helps support the many ministries of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church. All of us can celebrate our faith, open our hearts to God and fulfill our potential to be “joyous saints.”

We hope that you will join us in giving generously. Let’s all focus on the future!

Thank you!
