Holy Week 2020

Join us for the following services:

Holy Saturday: April 11 Diocesan Easter Vigil at 8 pm

St. Philip's is participating with a dozen or so congregations around the diocese in the Great Vigil of Easter. Our youth group is reading a lesson. All are invited to tune in at 8 pm using the following link: https://www.edomi.org/vigil/

Easter Day: April 12 Sunday Service, Coffee Hour and Youth Group

Noonday Prayer: Every Monday-Friday at 12 noon

If you missed them, here are our Holy Week services:

Maundy Thursday: April 9 (Prerecorded Service for the Evening Meal)

We will share, virtually, an “Agape Meal” – Agape being Greek for unselfish love for another person, expressed in compassion and service. This is a symbolic meal, and we suggest meatless/vegetarian items such as soup, cheese & crackers, nuts, dried fruit, grapes, hummus, guacamole, you get the idea.  Please have bread (such as pita) and wine or grape juice for each person. Please also have one or more candles (lighted) on the table.

Good Friday: April 10 Stations of the Cross at 12 noon

Join us on Good Friday at 12 noon for the Stations of the Cross. If you can't make it for the live service, you can watch the recorded service later in the day on our YouTube channel.
