2023 Holy Week and Easter

JOIN US FOR HOLY WEEK SERVICES

Every year we walk with Jesus through the dramatic final days of his earthly life, into and through the terrible and glorious events of his betrayal, arrest, crucifixion, and resurrection. We mark these events with special services and devotion. These services are a great chance for you to get involved and take part. If you have questions, contact Fr. Eric by phone or email.

APRIL 8: HOLY SATURDAY

HOLY SATURDAY the church is prepared for Easter.

  • At 8 pm we celebrate the Great Vigil of Easter with the lighting of the new fire and the Paschal candle, readings that remind us of God’s saving acts throughout history, and the first Eucharist of Easter.
  • We will be inviting kids and young people (and the young at heart) to help lead this service by participating in the readings and songs.
  • We begin outdoors, move into the darkened Great Hall, and then finally enter the church for a joyful Eucharist.
