Annual Giving Campaign

I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they shall rebuild the ruined cities and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards and drink their wine, and they shall make gardens and eat their fruit. (Amos 9:14)

Restore and Rebuild

Centuries ago, after a time of painful exile, the people of Israel returned to Jerusalem with great joy. They rebuilt the walls of the city. They wept as they found the sacred books and began to worship again in the temple. It was a time of restoration, rebuilding, and ultimately renewal.

This history is much on our minds as we continue to restore and rebuild our church ministries here at St. Philip’s after the pandemic. We have endured a kind of exile as in-person worship and ministries were curtailed. We are so grateful for the ongoing generosity of our members during this difficult time. We are so excited about the presence and energy of new members this year.

We invite you to participate in the continuing work of restoring and rebuilding St. Philip’s this year. Your pledge, of course, is incredibly important. But more than that, we invite your spiritual gifts. As we restart and reboot our ministries, we need new leaders in several areas. It is a wonderful time to try something new. We welcome new leaders, new ideas, new experiments as we reimagine and restore the full ministry of our church.

Please be in contact with either of us if you would like to learn more about how you can get involved in leadership at St. Philip’s.

And thank you in advance for your pledge of financial support.

Yours faithfully,

Eric Williams, Rector                                         Jonathan LindleySenior Warden
