Fall 2025: Phase 1 Discernment

Last Fall we engaged in a discernment process which involved cottage meetings seeking input from the congregation. Based on that input, we decided to move forward with a feasibility study led by our consultant, Maurice Seaton. This process led to the development of a case statement for the campaign.

Winter/Spring 2026: Phase 2 Feasibility Study

In early 2026 Maurice led a process of surveys and interviews to determine the feasibility of a campaign and to arrive at an achievable goal.

Summer/Fall 2026: Phase 3 Ask Phase

After a period of reflection, the vestry voted to adopt the proposed goal and to contract with Maurice to lead Phase 3. We are currently in this phase, during which every family at St. Philip's will be asked to prayerfully consider a pledge of support.

We are also recruiting parishioners who will be do the actual asking. If you believe strongly in the campaign and would like to join the team, let Fr. Eric know. There will be a one-hour training on August 9 and 10 for askers.

Mark your calendars: We are officially kicking off the campaign on Sunday, September 13 with a celebration event.

In the meantime, you are invited to watch this short video in which Mike Herderich from the Property Committee shows you some of the projects that will be included in the capital campaign.
